Unexpected Gifts from the Unexpected Persons

Have you ever felt that you are special or important? Have you ever been surprised in your special day? Do you experience unexpected happening in your life?. Everyone of us felt that we are unimportant to other people like they don’t need us. But there is always a time that you will experience unexpected things from the unexpected people.

It was one week before my day and our teacher announce that there will be a tour in Enchanted Kingdom and a payment for about eight hundred ninety five. I am so excited about what I’ve heard, but a sad in my face, where will I get money for the tour?. On our house, my mom ask me if I want to join the tour and I said yes, but she added more that if I join the tour there will be no celebration for my birthday. It was late night of Tuesday thinking about mom had said. I want to join the tour but I also wanted to celebrate my day with my friends, classmates and my teachers. It was five o’clock in the morning and finally decide what I want, after a several days my birthday came on and I list all the ingredients of the food and went on market. I cook all the foods by myself and prepare myself to the visitors. It’s six o’clock in the evening when Jamie and Iselle went on our house. I saw Iselle carrying a box and I thinking what is inside of it. When they are already done eating Jamie called me and describe their gift, it is jumbled letter and they said that I should arrange it in just two minutes. It’s Jamie, Iselle and Christel’s idea and I feel so excited about their gift. I look closely at it until Iselle gave me a clue she said that it’s very expensive and i really want it to be there. Until I guess the word. I was shocked and speechless in that moment. They answer my payment for the tour.

When the day tour comes all of the emotions are inside of me, nervous, excitement, fear and glad. We ride first at the Space Shuttle and we wait for about three hours until the long wait is over and we ride. I am so happy at that day I can’t explain my feelings I was so blessed. We also ride at the Air Race and Rio Grande I almost enjoy all the rides with the best people.

Everything is unexpected, don’t expect just let the universe do for it and if it is destined it will happen.

I, You, We Change The World

Have you ever wonder what the world could be after ten years? twenty year? thirty year? Or even a hundred years?. Do you know that today’s generation is living in the so called The Fourth Industrial Revolution?. Well I guess some of us are not yet familiar about this thing. It is actually the uncontrollable changing world, the 21st century human beings.

The First Industrial Revolution took place from the 18th to 19th centuries in Europe and North America. It is a period when most farmers, rural societies became industrial and urban, until steam engine is develop and it played a central role in the First Industrial Revolution. By the year 1870 and 1914, just before the World War I the Second Industrial Revolution was born. It is a period of growth for pre-existing industries and expansion for new ones such as steel, oil and electricity and used electric power to create mass production. Major technological advances during this period including the telephone, bulb and photograph. The Third Industrial Revolution or the Digital Revolution, it refers to the advancement of the technology from analogue electronic and mechanical devices to digital technology available today. In this period personal computer, internet and information and communications technology are made. In today’s generation another Industrial Revolution was born and that is the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) it was actually build on Digital Revolution. The 4IR is marked by emerging technology breakthroughs in a number of fields, including the robots, biotechnology, autonomous vehicle and 3D printing. In the book of Mr. Schwab he describe how 4IR is totally differ from the previous three. Which were characterized mainly by advances technology according to Arik Segal, the Fourth Industrial Revolution holds the unique opportunities to improve human communication and conflict resolution. There is no wrong in improving some things in our world it only became wrong if we use it in a bad way.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution may look and feel over threat to human beings as artificial intelligent robots who can speak, work, feel and express themselves after ten years. But in a reality it is a reflection of our desires and choices because the future is already here it’s just not yet evenly distributed. The 4IR plays a big role in our entire life and can’t deny the fact that I, you, we, are the one who change the world.

And finally, for something different visit the local zoo, Baluarte. Yes, there are giant dinosaur statues. Go have a beer at the Hidden Garden Restaurant on Bgry. Bulala and then take photos of yourself with the dinosaurs. There are also lions, tigers, monkeys, camels, deer, and a variety of birds inside the zoo itself.

Location: Bantay Church Bell Tower is 10 to 15 minutes away from Crisologo street. You can take a kalesa or a tricycle.

Fee(s): There is no entrance fee but a donation for the bell’s maintenance is accepted.

Eat Vigan longganisa – a garlic sausage similar to Lucban Longganisa.

Eat tinubong, a sticky sweet rice cake that’s sold in bamboo tubes.

Drink Basi, a local wine (native rum) made from sugarcane.

Let’s Travel Ilocos Sur

Ilocos Sur is well-known for its heritage village, which is Vigan, that has preserved Spanish colonial buildings. It’s a bit creepy when you walk late at night but it’s quite romantic if you’re with your ‘jowa’. But, how to get there? How far is it from Manila to Ilocos Sur? The distance between Manila and Ilocos Sur is 292 km. while the road distance is 358.5 km. if you have your own car much better but if you don’t, I prefer riding a bus so that you can save money for your trip.

Ilocos Sur is province in the Philippines located in the Ilocos Region in Luzon. Vigan city, located in the mouth of the Meztizo River which is the provincial capital.

From Ilocos you can stay at La Casa Ramirez which offers different types of rooms. They accommodate Couples, Families, or Group of Friends.

Traveling is somehow quite boring to someone cause it’s a time consuming and hassle, but if everyone knew the good side of traveling, I surely tell you, your body and mind will always look for it.

Vigan, Ilocos Sur is rich in history where it was recognized by UNESCO as heritage city. One of the best view is at night specially when you go to Calle Crisologo. You must try their empanada too ‘coz it is one of their specialty.

If you want to feel the vibe of Manila Zoo you can visit Baluarte which was made by Chavit Singson because he don’t want ilokano to go to Manila just to see the Zoo so he bring the vibe in their own place. Swear it’s all worth traveling in Ilocos Sur.

Place I want to travel

When people and friends of mine ask me about the place I wanted to go, I will simply say ‘Paris’. Then they will ask me again, why ‘Paris’? Why ‘Paris’? Like is there something wrong about Paris? That is the question and i don’t know why and how to answer it. Maybe they will never understand it but someday i will tell them ‘why’. For now, let me keep this as my own special request to God, so that one day it will come true.

Paris, France is the place where culture and music are belong together and of course where ‘love’ will live forever. Paris usually known as ‘the city of love’ and why they call it so, i just don’t have any idea. Some people also say that, Paris is the city of light, maybe because it has good scenery during the night.

There is a place in Paris where i always dream of going. Have you ever heard about the ‘happiest place on Earth’? No, it’s not Disneyland for me but Paris, Yes, it is the place where my heart belongs. For me, it is the most wonderful place in earth. People always ask me, ‘why do you want to go there? It is just a waste of time, childish man. I know they will always say a thing like that but for me it is more than that. They say we can recall what we have experienced before, our childhood memories will flashback because of the parades and scenery. I can imagine how it feels to be on that place, just like a dream come true.

It is been my dream to have my own picture, in front of Disney Land. I also heard that it is the perfect place for traveling with your peers and family.

Besides that, have you ever heard about the ‘Eiffel Tower’? They say that it is the perfect place for a marriage couple to go for honeymoon. And if I met my perfect one I want to bring her here to show how good the place is.

Greatest Dream

“Never let go of your dreams,” one of my mom taught me that i will forever embrace. ever since i was a child i dreamt to teach young people and eductae them until one person change my mind that i surely believe in and that is my father. he told me that there are a lot of good things outside the box. i ask God for a sign what should i choose and then airplane suddenly appear on my sight and i smiled i guess that is what God wants for me.

All i dream is to give back all the hardworks of my parents until I realize that I should dream bigger than this. I should do one thing before I leave this earth and that is growing uo a tree. I knew to myself that this is the only thing I can do for what he done to me. My greatest dream is to make one thing to help him and that is helping him to save his home. the EARTH.

Anyone can dream a lot, everyone wants to be rich, fame and anything but never dreamed of something to give back on, no one dream to help people those who are in vain, those who wants help but no one does. may let us not forgive the real essence and meaning of LIFE.
